Title: anyone else got really loud door locks?

 when i lock or unlock the car, especially when inside they make a loud thud noise - is this normal????

its a design feature

hence why i can never understand why people want the alarm beep enabled for when they lock the car - the locks can wake the fecking dead  :grin: :grin:

they must get louder as the car gets older, i brought a brand new golf in 2002 and i don't remember them being loud.

You can enable it with vag com. You might also like the one touch locking and anti hijack you can do with it  :wink:

Yea mine's loud as well.

sounds like the door lock pins are trying to go throw the door card.
its not a nice sound to here  :sick:
