Title: changing bushes

hi all, need to change my bushes underneath soon, are they compression fit or are they simple push in style?

not to sure yet, everytime i go over a bump i get a loose sound feeling if that makes sense

front or rear??

fronts could be wishbone or anti-roll bar

rear will be the rear beam bushes

front,  its not the top mounts, are the compression fittings or a hammer job?!!!  :grin:

Got to press them in, or buy complete wishbones from ebay for £45  :wink:

i've just odered those and i'll be getting the Audi TT bushes pressed into them

yep - i'll probably order some new bolts too - not sure if those are one use or stretch bolts and if i'm going to the trouble of getting them replaced i'll replace the bolts too  :smiley:

sounds easier than pressing new bushes in, not the sort of thing you cam do at home i suppose is it!

when i bought my car the rear sub frame bushes were on their way out so i got them replaced straight away, but i must say it is a really awkward job you have to have a special tool and compress them in tightening with a spanner thanks
