Title: gearbox advice
Post by: bratty on 12 April 2009, 21:19
think i might have found myself a reasonable box but the gearbox needs 2 x push in driveshaft flanges as they are missing, now obviously i must have these on the gearbox i have in it allready, are they difficult to swop over???

can i just purchase new ones??

vr6 box right? looking at etka they're held in with a bolt thru the middle of the flange, so should be dead easy!  should replace the flange seals really, if you get me the transmission code i can find out the part number, will cost 8-10+VAT each depending on the size you need
