Title: Judder when braking from high speeds
Post by: maverick1984 on 12 April 2009, 15:51
Afternoon,

When i brake throm high speeds (60mph +) i get quite bad steering wheel shake/vibrations/judder.

Will new discs sort this out? or bushes?

The wheels dont shake when just driving normaly so i have rulled out wheel balancing.

New discs and pads if i was you.

Would also check the wheels for play/ bearings.

Mine does this but it's the bottom bearing in the steering column, the column moves up and down if i pull up and down on the steering wheel.  Might be worth checking that but it's more than likely the disc(s)

Are you running standard alloys, if not well worth checking you have spiggot rings fitted.
