Title: tiny cracks

hi all took my engine cover of today to paint the lettering and noticed loads of tiny cracks on my rocker cover  :shocked:anyone know why or how this happens its not seeping oil or any thing

hi i dont think thy will show up on te camera theare real tiny you can feel them when you run your finger other them.. real strange

Hi mate, it just sounds like standard wear over time and oxidization. nothing to worry about mate.

Just had a look at my spare rocker cover,and the marks are on that aswell.It does indeed look like casting marks.
