I was just wondering what this would be valued at? I'm really keen on doing a swap plus cash for my car, but just wondered at what price. Any help would be great

Without pictures its very hard to say and although its had everything you've listed done it doesnt necessarily make it worth a fortune, it all comes down to how much someones willing to pay but I would guess that it would be worth more than £2K !
-
At the end of the day no matter what you spend on a car you never see it back when you sell it, however I would say that over £2k would be a fair price.
-
40k worth of receipts?!? just me thats slightly skeptical about that? :undecided:
-
The most important thing for me would be a mint body
-
Sounds impressive.. Mine has 17k's worth for the last 4.5 yrs including purchase price which was 3k back then and I'd be lucky to fetch that now..
Thanks Tesh

If its got good body work I would say that lot would be worth around £2500
-
I picked up something very similar this week with Full Leather and stupid money spent on it. £900. ;)
-
Receipts mean nothing if it's rotten.
Buy on body all the way.

Agreed. :) Tho when you find a bargain with no rot or rust it makes you a hell of a happy person :)

Damn, if the £40k spending only values the car at £2k, that's only a 20th.
I've spent about £2k on my car, so its only worth £100 then  I guess I best start taking offers then, £110 anyone?
As already said, check out the shell/chassis/engine. £40k of receipts could attribute to a fairly large crash repair bill - it is technically worthless (unless the parts are still guaranteed).
-
So your taking a mk2 in px for your mk4? If so then i'd undervalue the mk2
Ive noticed people being more nit picky when they viewed the mk2's. They were more interested in service history. When it comes to cars like these service is just a bonus in my books. Get the paint right then its worth alot more.

I'll give you £120 for your car Ben, better not be rusty though!
