Title: anyone got the part number for the rear gti badge with the red 'i'

 Phoned dealers yesterday for this badge and they said there isn't one with a red 'i' only tdi's have this?
So If anyone has the part no. handy it would be a great help.

I phoned a vw dealer near me as my gti has the badge with the red i on which is now faded badly, so im after a new one, anyways i asked them about it and said they were fitted on gti's between 01-02. got one ordered though, was £12 from my local vw dealer.

Yep i didnt know this but my GF seems to think the ones is Halfords are the same

 been to halford today, and yes they seem to be the same as the oem and only £6.99 :grin:
 Only downside - they are out of stock :angry:

happy to help , i took em off mine about 3 weeks ago so no need for em now..  :wink:
