Title: wat gives the best gains ????

hey peeps bin looking on the site and see that some people have drilled air boxes wats the gains from that ???
with a panel filter .

does that give you better gains than a induction kit / cold air feed??

as im looking to get something this week before the rolling road day

No gains from drilling the airbox but this has proved to give good gains :

just ordered my pipercross induction kit  :grin:

wont b here before weekend though.

 so doing the rolling road with out it  :cry:

lol yeah wer skint for bout 3-4 weeks m8 , all the money is tied up untill then.  then iam goin to try really hard to get coilovers m8 , get em at same time i u want then we can have a day fitting em etc

only joking mate, aint got no coilies to fit anyway - skint now.

Looking for a filter at the moment, not sure whether to get a pipercross panel or induction kit.

same here filter after coilovers for me but i really dont know wot way to go with the intake???

the panel filter is bout £35 quid and a induction kit ranges from £40 up to 200 ish depending on wot you go for.

iam goin to have a good look into the dsg intake with the pipercross panel filter with smoothed air box befor i make my mine up as alot of people on here say u get pretty good gains from it

i just went for pipercross induction kit cost 88 quid surpose to b a good one though were c next week lol
