Post by: nogama3 on 26 July 2004, 13:51
what  is the correct tyre pressure to have on a set of 205/40/17's on a mk3 tdi. I am having trouble locating the correct tyre pressures, can anyone advise?

I currently have mine at 32psi due to the fact that diesel engines are heavier than petrol enignes. On standard tyres (185/60/14's the recommended pressures were 33 on front + 35 on rear + 38 front + 40 rear when fully loaded). I dont know wether to run mine at 34psi due to the extra weight.
