Title: anyone know how much vw charge for spray paint

any one know howmuch the main dealers charge for a can of spray i have been looking every where for mystic blue paint i cant find it any where any idears

hello mate i recently got can of reflex silver from the dealers and you get the laquer to iirc was around the £14 mark hth

or get it mixed (halfords can mix it for you for about £12 and it's twice the size of the vw can)

I hear bad things about the match of some halfords mixes though, especially on some colours like deep pearl blue.
What are your experiences with it?

for the body colour tbh i prefer to use paint from vw but i have used the halfords mattblack paint and their laquer to paint my badges and lower grilles and i was quite impressed with it tbh but can't comment on the mix for the body colours tho as never had any

I think like everything at halfords..it depends on who serves you! I've had a few paints mixed there and never had any colour match issues but i know people who have!!

Had a couple cans mixed from halfords very impressed TBH  :cool:

As said depends who's mixing it tho  :wink:

I had some mystic blue mixed by our local motor factors (PCS) and it was a spot on match for doing my grill, rocker cover etc.

Cost me about £11 all in.  :smiley:
