I have petrol leaking from the 1st injector (the one nearest the drivers side). It only does it when cold.
What can be wrong with it? How can I fix it?
I'm sure someone out there has an answer!
Cheers

Hmm... I'm no expert on digi injectors, but I suppose generally that injectors mostly have some kind of o-ring or seal on them (Kjet ones do anyhow) which could be leaking, and also a fuel line or separate pipe that feeds the fuel. It could be the union at this point.
If it's only when cold, i assume you're talking about at idle - I'd guess the fuel delivery would be higher when the engine is cold to counteract fuel condensation and so the leak is showing up because of more fuel being released - could be that or just that fact that the leak seals itself up when the surrounding area gets warmer. The injector itself might be cracked too..
??? sorry that was a bit rubbish

replace the seals or buy a new injector, neither are v.expensive

I believe injectors aren't that cheap, shop around.

?25 for a new injector from EuroCarParts - though if your replacing one you may aswell do the 4 of them!

Are you sure it's the injector leaking, very common for the rubber fuel pipes to leak where they go onto the rail. New hose clips usually fixes it.

Thats a good price, the price for injectors on an Audi 20v is 50 quid each, and that was from Euro car parts.
