Title: Exhausts..
Post by: TS Jasma on 10 April 2009, 19:15
Ok, here the deal..I had the front and rear lip/valance on my car dipped and sprayed. it looks perfect now, no anniversary body kid needed, it looks perfect. only issue now though, is i want to put a cat back on my car, but i dont fancy having my nice shiny perfect colour coded valance at the back cut to make a twin exhaust fit. any one know any brands that will go under, rather than needing a space cut to fit?

the only ones ive seen are remus exhausts, but i just dont like the squared off look, and its the only one ive seen.

any clues?

thanks :)

Are these 'discreet' exhausts the same as the stock exhaust- ie can't be seen behind the bumper?

oh ok i hope so. that could be a good idea. Regarding the Remus exhaust- if it's discreet and behind the rear bumper then does it really matter if it's square- as it won't be seen??!?

the remus pipes stick out below the bumper not behind

apparently this has a discrete milltek. We'll have to take his word for it

LOL well yes, we'll have to take his word on that!!  Plus its got the deeper valance so not really a fair comparison to mine. it does look lovely though- i imagine it would be a comfy ride.

Yes sorry I seem to have hi-jakced the thread. I'm looking for the next thing to do to mine and a discreet exhaust could be the way forward- but I wouldn't want it to be seen at all.

neuspeed do one, it's not cheap but the pipes from the backbox are bent down to clear the bumper

Discreet does what it say on the tin, its discreet   You shouldn't see it no more than a standard one.

thanks guys.

then it would look poo, poking out from under the valance. buy a V6 4MO valence colour code that and then have the miltec 4mo exhaust

OK so the discreet milltek is 334 and the neuspeed is 634 (inc VAT) from awesome. Quite a difference!!

Or you can get one custom made turbo back for around £400-500 fitted and it will sound how you want

The ones that hang below the valance tend to look    and a bit of an afterthought
