What size discs are on the mk2 8v ('90 spec if it makes any difference)?? And would I be able to fit aftermarket 16v discs, EBC for example?? And would I be able to use the original carriers??

they are 239mm, you cant fit the 256mm discs from the 16v without using the 16v hubs, carriers and calipers

or do like i did and fit G60 280 mm

but again you need the hubs, drive flanges, discs, flexis, calipers and carriers

BUT it does make one hell of a differance :)
