Noticed that my car is actually lower on the right hand side as opposed to the left, bit annoyed if I'm honest because I only adjusted it a couple weeks ago. Anyway, as I'm pretty damn sure it's not a case of the threads being higher than the left, and it's to do with the shell, what will be the consequences of having one side slightly lower (around 1 - 2cm) lower on the front as opposed to the other side?
-
bad cornering at speed. Mine was uneven at one point, handled a bang of wank in left hand bends.
-
Fudge it then, guess I'll double check the threads to make sure they are 100% the same, but if not not much I can do :(
-
sure it wasnt the road etc?
-
It's parked outside my house, even though I'm on a hill it defo isn't the road. TBH, when I set the coilovers again a few weeks ago, as the rear was well out, the fronts were the same yet the front left was still higher than the right ever so slightly, so it must be the shell.
-
Maybe maybe. just stick a BAM in it, and be done with it.
-
I could never get mine level, set them level and mine was always lower on the drivers side I was told that the cheaper coilovers can suffer with it.
Only thing I can suggest is don't measure the threads but measure from the bottom spring plate to a fixed point on the car.

That's one of the reasons i went for a fixed kit in the end as i can't be arsed with all that adjusting :undecided:

Surely tyres will wear quicker depending which side?
I have that one side of the back is lower then the other, not too botherd at the mo tbh, planning to go lower neways!
