Hi all i think im gonna have to sell my valver that i got a little while back
I have not even got the money to finish it off and im gutted to be honest
I have done a few bits that it needed like the illusive front mount bracket lol and also changed the wheels and fitted the air temp switch which was not even there.
I really love this motor but its either sell that or the kids lol
what do you reckon i should ask for it???? It has not got tax or mot and i dont really want to break it as it would be a big shame

Price will depend on millage, condition, whats been done etc the usuals
Sorry to hear your having to get rid
-
I dont even wanna sell it lol,If i can talk the missus into parting with the 1.4 and using this its all good. But im half way through trying to set up my own buisness and with things the way they are maybe i should just say goodbye to it and get another when i have spare cash
-
It's worth about £200 with no mot or tax
-
If i would only get that for it then i might aswell break it for parts
-
i think he was making a point that you need to at least MOT it before you sell.
-
Sell the kids!!!
-
4 and one on the way I would make a mint lol
-
Get it MOT'ed and taxed and go from there.
-
I would but funds dont really allow at the min,I done want to sell but i have no choice
-
Without an mot you won't get much (I guess £200-400! if your lucky).. Breaking might be better if you don't have funds avalible! And I know someone after some parts
-
Sorry to hear your news
In your position and if i physically could / had the room i'd break it. You'll get a lot more for parts than selling with no mot (may even get more than with an mot!!).
It is a shame to break a good car but needs must sometimes. Another will turn up at a more suitable time.
-
I think i will dwell on it for the weekend and decide then,Of course if i break you boys will get first dibs
-
looks like a nice car. Got anymore pics ??
Thanks,
Mark

To be honest selling it will be hard without an mot, if you really need to sell it I would consider breaking it.
-
Sorry to hear about your bad news mate :sad
-
dont break it that a really nice colour to send to the scrap yard
-
wot colour is that its lush i want on of those mines boring old black.
dont scrap it would be a big shame
-
fjord blue i think its called mate
-
This is a honest un bais opinion mate.
Breaking it - Ok, some parts will fly out, but you will be left with a 80% complete, un drivable car. That would then have to be trailered / craned to a scrappy for poo scrap value.
Selling as is - Fast easy money, although your price would be depending on the person buying, and the state of the car.
Sticking it in for an mot, even if it fails, the new buyer will konw what it failed for.
At the end of the day, without mot, it wont get you much money. So if you are that desperate for £300, sell it as it is now, and if your not, fix it and sell it, bag the profit. Or keep it.
Breaking is for someone with space and time to sit on a cheap investment (probably the new owner!)
-
I have decided after everyones advice,I am gonna keep it .It might take me a while but i,ll get it how i want it.
-
Good choice, you'll not regret it I know I don't lol
-
Best choice mate in the long run ;)
-
you did kind of swing it for me mate
-
Unless you have a huge garden / drive, and dont mind creating your own small scrap yard. Breaking a car is not practical.
