Title: My Mk III (maybe the rarest MK III in the UK)
Post by: uta_flyinghigh on 09 April 2009, 20:07
Hello all,

Here is the newest addition to my fleet (which includes a 1990 Golf II Driver and a 1996 A4 B5).

She's a 1994 Golf III GL with a 2.0 8V 115hp engine, imported from the USA (but made in Mexico).
Equipment includes dual airbags, A/C, alarm, electric sunroof, central locking and power steering but alas, manual windows.

Plans are some rims, coilovers, exhaust, CAI, upgraded sound system and GTI tailights.

Thoughts ?

US spec rear hatch looks wicked and I guess the front bumper has no no plate recess either. A drop some nice rims and a good polish and that'll look really nice.

No wing mounted repeaters either , looks nice, as said rims, drop and exhaust and that will look sweet.

You say its a gl with a 8v engine in it, has it been changed..? and what about brakes and things, been uprated aswell..?
