With a four day break for most of us what mods are you doing over the Easter break?
CS
-
I swapped my main beam bulbs over the other day, but I might get round to dropping the bumper and putting in the sidelights Powerbulbs sent me as well. Oh and a damn good clean!
-
Just clean and a machine polish I think. Unless Wazzer has been working hard ;)
-
Not much, wash and wax, change my aero blades & fit new plate surrounds then off to Oulton Park on monday for British GT champs
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet just found out the VW Racing Cup is on the same day too
-
sorry Tim, I will be making your loom for you over the weekend. Will be posted to you on Tues
I will also be fitting my engine mounts, fitting the twin fog light mod and taking pics for a how to on here, sorting out my coilovers and re-attaching my lower front strut brace. I might also wash the Golf and the Ninja
-
Ill give it a wash but thats about it. I've done something to it every weekend for 4 weeks :lipsrsealed:
-
Nothing, using the car to go to Cardiff :)
-
Hopefully i will have time to; fit R32 front Brakes, buy and fit a momo gearknob to match my newly fitted momo wheel! Change my gaybo wood interior trim. And also give it a good clean, polish and wax. And Get round to spraying a few bits i have had in my garage for ages like the other side of my delocking kit and also maybe even a spolier

Just been out to have a look at the top engine mounts and they don't look too bad to change, probably about an hours work
I also just realied how shot mine are, I started the car with the bonnet open and the engine was being thrown around all over the place
I'll try and get a vid of before and after so you can see the difference. I'll also do a how to I think

i robbed one off another car (written off) that had 20k on the clock, wasnt to bad at all took me 10 mins max to get the mount off (gearbox side)
-
mine have only done 56k, it's the fact they're 10 years old that's the problem I think!
-
not so much a mod..........but changing the rear beam bushes arrived today  oh and rubbing down the original door triggers to create the aluminium (R32) look-to match the trim  no cost for that i have masking tape and some wet & dry :afro:
-
I'm not doing anything if this rain carries on
-
Whipping off the bmc cda, smoothing air box and putting panel filter on see if it makes any difference?
-
just finished the engine mounts, not the easiest job in the world but then again not the hardest.
How to coming soon

Cool what do you think of them?

Just finished dropping the bumper and replacing the lamps in the headlights. Simple emotgh job, although the rain made it cold wet and 'orrible.
Will have to wait for better weather for a clean.
