Title: pulley gringing

i have recently put a mk3 19td in my mk2 everything went hunky dory apart from one major problem,the pulleys on the crank are grinding on the chassis i know the belts and pulleys are different to the mk2 engine, what can i use off a mk2 to over come this ie, pumps pulleys are all the pulleys interchangable if i need to swap things for mk2 what model do i need to take hem off? cheers for any help

The chassis leg needs bashing in. Impossible to do with the engine in though.  Had to put a dent in mine or it would rub. Ben

doesnt seem right, my 2e and abf had same setup and no clearance problems?
what engine mount/bracket combo are you using

mk3  subframe and rear mouts with mk2 front mount, the pulley that is on now is off a mk2 and its catching if i use the mk3 pulley the engine wont fit in at all. my problem as grow thought about going back to mk2 subframe came to taking bolts out that hold subframe and think i have spen the captive nut that holds the front bolt
