All relays should be warm when car is hot. So run car until hot then turn off and take out relay. If its warm to touch all round then its fine. If cold its duff!

Now this is going to sound weird but I had a problem with my lights buzzer not working. Then I had problem with H/U not working on the remote circuit and I believe that was a fault at the ignition switch. So I changed H/U wiring to permanent live and hey presto buzzer also worked!

My buzzer wouldnt work when my side light bulb was out..? Anyway you can apply 12v to the pins and it should buzz, im not sure if it would get warm though would it?  as far as i can tell it is literaly JUST a buzzer inside but i could well be wrong so dont hold me to that.

You learn something new every day! I just assumed my missus 8v didn't have one.  It'd be handy like. Will have to raid a scrappy at weekend then!

My buzzer stopped working when i changed my stereo, but when i put the standard one back in it worked??

go figure lol

I also thought that the buzzer was built into the light switch itself????

so this is the next question, is it the relay the buzz's ? or is it the dash area?
the plot thickens.

The relay its self buzzes, i had one on my desk a few weeks ago i was fiddling with so i decided to take it to bits, there is an electromagnetic coil, a reed thingy that vibrates, and a casing,  the reed vibrates against a section of the case... thus making a BuZZZZZZZZZZZ Noise.  I hooked it up to my power supply.. i entertained my self for hours with the little buzzy part of it i cant se anything else inside that looks like a relay though, just a coil and a reed

Looks like you will need relay marked 36. Should be in position 9. £rd from left on bottom row of fuseboard.

This should be linked to your interior lights - are your interior lights coming on when you open the drivers door? If not check the door switch.
