i got a 2.0 8v gti where can i get a turbo or supercharger for it from?
-
It's not that easy!! you really have a few options, either fit a supercharger (better than turbo as you don't need quite as much engine internal work!) but you'll need to fabricate several parts yourself (or buy from america!) or fit a 1.8t engine (much easier and all parts are readily avalible!)
both will cost £2000 minimum (more if you want new parts etc!)

if you dont have aircon an eaton goes on quite easy

it aint as simple as just bolting it on though...

you can get it done for less than £2k using stock parts, it wont be as reliable and you wont be able to run as much boost, but it will work. brackets need to be made and the engine management will need to be changed. unless you have big pockets or you are handy and can carry out most of the work yourself then i would leave it alone..
as you have an 8v the best option for you would be an eaton m45 found on bmw mini coppers and some mercs.
megasquirt is one of the cheapest standalone engine management systems and can prove to be very useful and flexible.
