Title: MK6 GTI or Scirocco ?

Was thinking about goin for the new Scirocco instead of getting into the hype of the new release , What use think ?

What hype ? I haven't seen any hype towards the GTI, it doesnt need any to sell it, if there is its all justified as its a superb all round car. It might not be the jump everybody was expecting or hoping for over the mk5 but it still ticks all the right boxes. For me, I dont care what the Scirocco is like, I dont care that its top speed and 0-60 is almost the same (mk5 spec), and I dont care that it possibly does look nicer (some people say it does but I still think the mk6 is nicer), the GTI is what a hot hatch should be (I know the scirocco is a coupe) - If you want a balanced all round great car the GTI is still head and shoulders above anything else. Jesus I sound like a magazine  :grin:

I had a Corrado for 10 years and was looking forward to seeing the new Scirocco - I saw it in the flesh for the first time yesterday and I'm afraid it looks grim.  It's all wrong at the back.

Sold my Scirocco this week having had it only 8 weeks and I've just bought an ED30 to replace it.  Much prefer a hot hatch to a sports coupe. :laugh:

test drove the rocco. Wouldnt buy it despite being offered a cracking deal. :undecided:

I looooove the look of the new Rocco but haven't been able to test drive one. On look alone I'd have the Scirocco.
On performance I'd have a mk5 R32  :grin:

Well i looked at a lease so could of had the rocco otr for £239pm on a 3+23 deal... at the time that was. Still some good ones available now but I have just gone off them for some reason :undecided:
