Title: stupid G60 question

But, do you have to let a G60 cool down like you do with a turbo after you've been canning it?

Don't think so Diz as the charger never gets as hot as a turbo, anyone else have a opinion  :-\.

No you don't, my mates got a G40. I'm no forced induction expert but a turbo is driven by exhuast gases so become red hot?  The supercharger is mecanically driven so they don't get any where near as hot. I think.
