Title: Air Intake covers???

On my MK1 campaign behind the bumper are 2 air intakes feeding the rad and oil cooler, should these have covers, look as though they should but mine are just big holes!

Mine are just 2 big holes too. Never seen any covers there before. Have seen some  cardboard like panels either side of the radiator, although mine are long gone.

Yes there should be two black plastic covers over the holes
