By a prat in a peugeot 406 who wasnt watching what he was doing at a roundabout.Just what i need when im going to Vw mania in belgium on thursday :'(.Has anyone got a rear Big bumper iron for sale??

Im going to take a hammer to the iron and see if i straighten it at all,nearly had a fight with his mate who was getting all lairy and saying its only a old golf and theres no damage >:(

Really sorry to hear that mate. The other guy give you any insurance details or anything like that?

As 6 says, should you feel 'unwell' it would definately be worth going to the docs  ;) you never know what might come of it.

an old dude pulled out in front of me a while ago and we hit. He refused to admit liability so I bought another bumper metal piece and put on some crystal indicators. the only give away is the tiny dink in my n/s wing, which I'll fix soon.

It's just a pain in the arse when it's not your fault.

He has admitted liabilty saying that he wasnt watching what he was doing.It was a company car so he gave me his card,i checked on his d licence that it was him,and he gave me his bosses name and said to ring monday.I have taken the rear bumper off today and the bumper iron was bent and the leg was also bent.I hammered it as straight as i could and put it all back togeher and tbh you cant really tell now as it didnt mark the bumper skin

My neck isnt too bad now,cheers for asking.They are sending me a cheque after i send proof of how much the bumper iron is
