Hi guys
I got some of my engine parts fitted this weekend but ran into a problem. On the Forge Tip is their another part that is needed to connect the tip at the botton becuase when me and my friend where looking at it the standard one seems to be bolted on but on the forge one its but plastic (I think) and their is nowhere to bolt the tip to
Sorry for my terrible explanation

off the top of my head (never fitted one!) the original TIP is part plastic and metal and you need to remove all of it!
the Forge TIP then slides over the turbo inlet and is clamped down with jubilee clips or equivalent
-
when me and my friend lifted the car up their was nowhere we could see to connect it other than some screws that where holding it in place already, I didnt know if I have to buy some adapter that will fit around the tip and then bolt on.

Just follow the stanard pipe down unbolt the metal flat pipe and slip the forge tip in its place?? Take a pic of what your talking about mate.

Thank Rich
So looking at step 6 in that guide all I need to do is replace the TIP with the Forge one ,and the pipe will just go into the turbo inlet and doesnt need to be bolted into place like the standard one.

No you don't use the bolts with an aftermarket one

That seems a bit odd that the stardard one has bolts but the forge one just fits into the inlet.
Sorry if a bit late but I like the signature

Yeah but you are removing/replacing the metal part so have nothing to bolt down.

Cool cheers Rich - You are the man
When me and my friend where at audi fitting everything he said it sounded a bit odd that the standard one had bolts and the forge one didnt, but if it just fits into the inlet that fine.
Hope you get the car fixed soon.
