Put a deposit on a lovely MkV GTi last week, but have been waiting for the guy (friend of a friend) to get delivery of his new motor... which thankfully was this weekend, so can pick it up tomorrow afternoon!
Can't wait, am very excited :laugh: :laugh:

Sure its a 3DR 2005/55 GTi in Grey, Fully loaded with leather, heated seats (winter pack I think), 6 CD, Sat nav, xenons etc.
Will most definitely get some pics up as soon as I get her.... weather permitting of course :undecided:

Yeah read about your MkV pain on the other thread... I'm sure there's one out there for you though!
Not at all, 54k miles (just had the big service) got it for £8800. I think I've got a great deal on a very mint car - the guy has had it from new, and its been very well looked after - just knowing the right person in the right place at the right time!

Bargain! Mileage is a little high for me but at a price like that with the major service you can't argue! Looking forward to seeing some pics! :cool:

Well as promised got my GTi today - and I am very very pleased! Needs a bit of detailing work in and out to get it to my exacting standards, but that will be enjoyable :D
Cracking car, comfortable, quick, great to look at great to drive - why didnt I buy one earler!?

You got yourself a cracking bargain there mate. Nice spec and at that money you could probably drive it for a couple of years and still get your money back if you don't do many miles!! Nice colour too! :wink:
