Title: Pescara's & AG Alloy Seal & Clearcote
Post by: pitch3110 on 05 April 2009, 17:57
I have used this on my A4 S-line 5-arms for 2-3 years & been amazed at the way it sheds b/dust & keeps the wheels in good order,  & thats without the shine.

Now using it on the wifes ED30 & it is certainly doing the trick.

IMO well worth a try.

Also.........never been a fan of Clearcote Quickshine on Phantom Black, but on Steel Grey I am very pleased with the results.

I used this before jetseal which blows the AG away for how long it lasts!

Best thing about jetseal is it will add shine like a polish to and bring the metal of the wheel up. Its also fantastic on paint and glass (used on the rear it will sheet off in rain  )

Here is vxrmarc with jetseal on his wheels (the guy who details to another level of anyone else lol)

A BMW i did with 1 layer of jetseal and a layer of swissvax onyx

The AG Alloy Seal works in the same way with shedding the muck & dust.

Its an aerosol & I give the wheels a quick spray after every wash.

It leaves a white residue that dries, I then just buff with an MF cloth.

Jetseal does look inpresive though.

Any issue using the jetseal on Monza II's?

I have applied a healthy coat of poorboys wheel sealant once a month to mine since they where all replaced under warranty after the previous owner clearly never showed them any love!

Wouldn't want to spoil all those hours of buffing by applying jetseal and wrecking them!

I imagine its not in the same leauge as that stuff but I just put AG SRP on the wheels as well as the rest of the car when I polish it.  Doesn't last more than a month but I don't have to use anything other than shampoo for cleaning the wheels
