Just wondering if anyone knows if the above mk3 gearbox 1400 would fit onto a mk4 polo?

If the polo uses an 085 type box then there's no reason it won't fit (seat ibiza's etc use the same code and are interchangable with the golf)

There's 2 types fitted to the 1.4 depending on age. The earlier ABD engine has the same gearbox, apart from ratios, as the mk4 Polo. The later AEX engine has an 02x derivative which won't fit.
