Title: replacing aerials

hi guys, i need help. i can't get medium wave on my radio - any ideas? i was thinking of replacing the aeriel to start with not least cos the standard one looks rubbish. how do i go about this? do i need to remove the roof trim or can it be done from outside? ta.

only have to drop the headlining if you are replacing the whole base - the aerial itself simply unscrews

yeah i know its missing the rubber seal and i think water may have got in some how and ruined my signal. can't think of any other reason why i cant get AM.
