Title: Can anyone link me to an electric windows guide...

I'm looking at going to the scrappy in about half an hour and hopefully getting electric window wiring, mechs etc to put into my 8v, and am frantically googling for a removal/fitting guide. If you can help, thank you so much!!

dead easy! wind window half open so you can unbolt glass from regulator, lift it up to unhook then carefully lower it inside the door.  regulator then just held in with a few bolts, direct swap.  dont forget you need rubber boots between door and body if car has no central locking or electrics in doors.

wiring is the hard part as you have a CE2 fusebox, so may not be an easy place to splice into for the ign live trigger, you need to splice into the D plug on your fusebox, check my FAQ. if you're lucky you'll have a spare black wire on this plug which you can use. Live is easy though there are spare spade plugs round the back you can plug right into.
