Hi guys just had to have my car Krypton tuned b4 i put it in for an MOT and my car b4 was really un ecconomical and it was pumping a lot of un-burnt fuel out the exhaust!
Well!
They finished tuning it and yes it might be economical but it pops like a son of a b#tch when i go down the gears at junctions it pops also when i rev it when the throttle is off it pops like mad whats going on could it be to lean im not sure!
Has anyone got any ideas please help ???
The guy said that the engine was in real good nick but it doesnt sound like it now after the ham fisted dude has played with it!
If it make life easyier for someone to help here is some of the readouts he gave me if it makes sense?
HC Level at 834 = 68 ppm at 3000 = 89ppm
CO2 Level at 834 = 13.90% at 3000 = 12.90%
CO Level at 834 = 1.33% at 3000 = 4.16%
Strobe timing at 2239 rpm = 49.8 degrees and it failed on that it had to be between 5.0 - 7.0 that sounds like a problem but he said it wasnt.
Also he has set my idle at 822 rpm
Can anyone tell me what hes done to my car for the ?50 that i spent whats the popping all about help please ???

Looks a bit rich at 3000rpm, and nearly 50 degrees of timing at 2200rpm don't sound right. Air flow meter and coolant temp sensors will send it rich, should not pop as the injection system should cut the fuel on over-run. Check the throttle switches are working and the throttle is closing fully to the stop (cable not to tight).
