HI all  new to the site a the world of golfs just got a mint condition 8v
with 980000 miles

Yeh, post us some piccies of your motor - I think you have to have an image stored somewhere on the internet that you can link to. Then you go for the fourth button along on the bottom row of square buttons when you're posting, and put the link in between the img bits it puts in...

Actually I was reading about this guy in america that had like 750,000 miles on his golf (not sure if it was diesel or not), so 980,000 is probably possible! But not on the M6.
