Does one have to support the engine and remove the subframe?

whats the deal, dont want to take a fat lot off if i can help it, its got a 8v G60 in it.

You can remove the the subframe if you want, its either the engine or subframe - its your choice.

nice thread, i hope its not my coloum bearings causing the problems, now ive gone and got a recon rack. ive already had the engine in and out so i got no problems doing it, except i cant be arsed lol. i think if i get the engine crane on it, then undo the subframe and take it off it should leave the engine suspended and save disconnected alot of stuff.
