Title: ignition switch

can somebody please tell me how I can remove and change the damn ignition switch? I keep hearing things about removing a lockwasher that holds a spring.....but where the hell is that washer and I can't see it???????? Close-up pictures would be greatly appreciated.

If its just the switch you need to change and not the lock barrel (it is seperate part that plugs into the back of the lock barrel)
I think all you need to do is remove the housing from around the steering column (2 screws I think) and you should be able to get to it.  There might be an extra screw holding the switch in place.

Doesn't tanke 5 minutes to check even if I'm wrong ;)
