Title: Flat Rate VW Service Plan
Post by: bobotheclown on 03 April 2009, 10:19
Well I bought the Flat Rate Service plan (first 3 services for £200) and booke my car in for the first service Tuesday. I asked the dealer if they can put Long Life oil in even though I'm on Time and Distance and the dealer told me that the Service Plan would not cover the cost of Long Life only VW502 00 and that they will have to charge me £13.99 a liter for Long Life. Jeez how tight and stingy is that? This was at Beadles in Dartford. Plus they scratched the hell out of the paint when they cleaned the car with a broom. I would go somewhere else if I had a choice. A$$holes.

thats quite cheap.

it is true though.. if youve paid for a service plan, vw will only authorise the oil as stated.if you as the customer want different oil used, then its down to you to pay for.

its not dealer, its vw.
