a little while ago when i had the front tyres changed the car seemed to pull a little to the left,
i'm guessing it'd done that for a while and i just didn't have enough tread to notice.....
after putting the S3 braces on yesterday i swapped the wheels around just incase it was something to do with the
way the new tyres had been fitted / balanced or something random like that but still there,
started really worrying about it today until i realised every road i drove down had a nasty camber on......
found a flat bit of road and seems fine going straight until i accelerate at all then it pulls to the left......
anyone any ideas?!?
-
cud be ur tracking
-
i had the tracking checked loads at the time as i knew a guy with a GTi at a garage near me,
was fine everytime - even had it up on some ramps to try a different way.......
and with tracking i thought it would always pull not just under acceleration?
-
pressures the same in both tyres??
track rod end? worn bushes?? :undecided:
-
tyre pressures are the same,
which bushes would effect it? how would i check? - replaced most of them a little while ago
why would a track rod end effect it only when accelerating - i thought that would be the same as tracking - all or nothing?

wishbone bushes :undecided:
have you checked the dogbone mount??
i'm just throwing ideas around really to ascertain what you've checked / replaced

both wish bones were replaced about a year ago after a little mis-hap when fitting my lowering kit,
i haven't fully check the dog-bone mount but looked ok when i put the lower brace on yesterday
