Hey all,
slightly not-gti I know, but the wife's Auto has had a persistent clunk in the transmission, almost since new, and getting it fixed has proved difficult, when it comes back from the dealer it's usually ok for a while but gets progressively worse... At the mo' it has a slight clunk between 1st and second (at it's worst putting it into drive almost drops the transmission out of the bottom of the car)
I know I had an issue like this on my old passat 1.8T auto which turned out to be the throttle body and not the transmission at all; and I know the FSI engines are seriously petrol quality sensitive, before I ask the dealer to check this out does anyone else have any other suggestions.....
