Title: Bit ironic really

Well as some of you have seen my golf from the rr day at the moment i have colour coded the 3 lower grilles and on saturday i was talking to jonny about them and have now decided that i'm going to be painting them 'matt black'  :laugh: well yesterday afternoon on my way to work i had the misfortune to encounter hitting a dog on a busy dual carriageway  :cry: i managed to slow up enough before hitting the dog and i have got away with a broken/cracked osf lower grille  :shocked: so this morning i have ordered all 3 lower grilles so as to get them painted hence the post title really that how ironic it was talked about and now i'm going to have to do it anyway :wink:

could have saved you trouble of spraying them Matt

all you would have to do is follow me whilst i gunned it  :grin: :grin:

now theres an idea rhys pmsl  :grin: :grin: :grin: looks like i'm going to be busy at the weekend and got a lambda sensor to fit with jonny to  :laugh:

well i had to call in to northumbria police on the way to work today to produce all my docs after i reported it and according to 3 witnesses the dog dragged itself over the other carriageway and ran of down the slip road  :shocked: i'm in the clear  :wink: as no damage done to other cars or the central reservation lol and was praised for preventing what could have been a nasty accident  :smug: still cost me for the grilles tho  :tongue: but least they will look good once i'v painted them i'l post up when all finished :afro:

no he did paint them the same colour as his car - see his project thread

i thought you were asking for pics of the grills painted black...........
