Title: 2e Bottom end, with PAS........?
Post by: Llewellyn on 01 April 2009, 13:21
Have read loads about the loom wiring for ABF conversions and see that it is a possibility, and 150bhp out of the box is nice.

I assume putting a 2L bottom end on will give me very little power increase but a wedge of torque?

What cambelt to i need?

my car has power steering also, is this a problem?

cheers

J

pas is no problem.

use the 2L cambelt

2ltr on 8 valve give bit more power but real gain is  more torque

2E has the right dizzi IIRC, but an AGG has a crank position sensor on it and is younger.  This means you can run fandango management, if you want.

Advantage to running newer management?

Aftermarket management is easily mapped to suit mods and can be more individually tuned to your car to for greater gains
