any one seen these befor and know if there any good for my gti 8v

anything that has silly power claims are usually crap (for example a K&n will give 2-3bhp max).. If these really worked the big makers would fit them to all car's but as the millions they spend on r&d each year haven't come up with something similar I say there cack!!

In theory it would work... some one put a civic on a rolling road and used a leaf blower .. it actually gained something like 4/5 bhp....  Obviously those little electric things would have enough power to make a diffrence  :grin:  But if you fancy pulling arround a petrol generator and have a leaf blower sticking out ya bonnet...  :wink:

In the same as ECO sprayer and FSE Boost Valves! Gimmicks that dont work!

They theroticly work.....just the dammage it does to your engine/cat is a worry....

That and lack or proof in the 25bhp extra......

But never fitted it! Then realised how they work and threw it!

If you are going electric, you would be better going leccy water and PAS and gain horses that way. still a lot of work for little gain
And as for the Ecotek, best way to get that VW beetle sound lol :laugh:

heres the deal look it up on youtube there's a guy who sells superchargers and his version takes 75 amps to run but it produces 2-5 psi that's all and it cost about $300 u.s. and hes in Australia

see 5psi is just... Stupid!  the turbo on my TDI pushes out nearly 20psi stock :grin:
