Title: First Service Help

Hi Guys,

I bought my GTI from Motorpoint and was told it was a German parallel import.  I do have the original service book that the car came with but it's in German.  It has a stamp for a PDI (I think) but was wondering when I need to get the first service done.  Will it tell me when it needs doing now and for subsequent services?

I've had the car 2.5 weeks and done nearly 1600 miles in it already  :huh:... loving it!!

mines an import and it just popped up with a warning "1000 miles till service" - "500 miles to service" etc which was around 10,000-11,000 or 11 months after i got it.

surely that servicing regime would be the same on an import or uk spec?..
so it will be either every year or 10 000 miles OR upto 20 000 miles or 2 years...
