Title: what type of engine is it??

Hi all this mite be the most stupid question ever but I had a 8v gti 1991...what type of engine is this digi??
I converted it to a 16v 1988 is this a kjet?????

Yes early 8V's were K-jet then switched to Digi, all 16v's were K-jet.
