i fitted a amp and some 6x9s in my mk3 gti

all works ok but when i have a cd on and the volume is set very low i can hear the radio though the 6x9's even though the head units set to cd, any ideas??

sh!t wiring, crap cables, no insulation.

think the wiring kit is a fusion kit, are they crap? if i buy a rca lead noise surpressor would this help?

my bro had a rca supressor so put it on but its made no difference, which cable would need insulating more ??

Check you haven't got cables coiled up - when you coil a cable it works, essentially, as an aerial.
Neaten up your install if at all possible, people rarely consider how neatness can actually affect SQ

was having a play around today and i moved the rca leads from the rear outlet to the front outlet and now the speakers work as normal with no radio noise.....the front outlet is right next to the aerial output and the rear is futher away

replace my head unit and problem is sorted, nothing to do with my wiring or the quality of the cables  :smiley:
