You can get carbon kevlar and carbon fibre rolls at CFS, about £20+ a meter for carbon kevlar and £30+ for carbon fibre. http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/Specialist_Fabrics.html, but you'll need a vacuum chamber to degas your resins and a vacuum pump if you want to draw resins through a bag over the contour of a surface.

There's tons of youtube videos of how to do it other ways though.

Surfboard resin and layering like Glass fibre is the way I am looking at doing some bits. The surfboard resin tends to be quite good at removing bubbles from the piece as you would need a hell of a big vac bag to get an 8' longboard in :)

Aye, a good set of tools to help is the best, a load of disposable brushes, a couple of metal rollers to push air out/off the surface and a tub or two of acetone to drop the tools in before the resin sets.

And here is where I have been advised to get my resins from :)
