Title: Peeling laquer near rear gti badge ?

as subject says, i have a small area of the hatch near gti badge that is starting to peel the top coat of laquer about 10 pence kind of size its a 2006 plate in reflex silver, anyone else had anything like this oh and what is the best way to go about trying to sort it out, any advice is great thanks again.  :angry:

If it is still under warranty then I'd be tempted to get it sorted by VW quickly.  :cool:

hmm good point ive only had it 6 weeks and it still has 1 month manufacturers warranty and 12 month extende warranty that the stealer gave me, rigth wheres the phone  :undecided:

This is a very unusual complaint. Are you sure the tailgate hasn't been repaired and repainted previously :huh:

I'd take it to the dealer asap and get it sorted. Repaint/relacquer the only effective remedy.
