drove through an innocent looking puddle last night....

big bang, fillings fell out of teeth.... pot hole in puddle!!!!

f u c k i n g foot long and over ten inches deep!!!!!!!

wheel is f**ked. abs sensor permanently on, tracking f u c k e d

feel the need to hurt somebody really badly........

unlucky mate  :( you can sometimes claim stuff like that off the local council. got to be worth a look.

looks like the excuse you need for wider rims on the rm's  ;)

cheers for the replies guys.

have taken pics of hole and wheel. am contacting the council press office to explain how I'm going to write a daily diary with the local paper on how well the council deals with my claim...should put the wind up them a bit. four years of PR degree are hopefully about to pay off.....

JV - way ahead of you mate! already got a quote to relace the rims with *cough larger ones* he he he wqill hopefully try to get them resprayed at the same time ;-)

I managed to De-sleeve my rear shock going through a puddle and finding it was a pot hole, The councel fobbed me off and didnt pay up :(

i know you have taken pictures but i just read this.
if you are taking pictures to be used as evidence you must always use something as scale ie a ruler or pace something people know the size of ie a coke can in the hole. otherwise should you need to go to court ther is no real proof of how bad it was. any thing in the distance would be hard to judge. this is alway done in forensic science and is good practice.
