Title: Help me look for a Mk5 Gti (5 door)

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and am looking to buy a Mk5 GTi. I have driven my brother's for over a month now and absolutely love it.

What I am looking for;

Essential;
- 5 door
- DSG
- Black or Graphite blue exterior
- heated leather seats
- Full VWSH
- Ideally under 25k miles
- Not an import
- As standard a car as possible (not heavily modded)
 
Desirable;
- Xenon
- parking sensors
- SATNAV

I wouldnt want to spend over £13.5 max for the GTI however if its an Edition 30, I am willing to stretch upto £15.5k

Cash waiting for the right car. I am based in London but willing to travel for the right car. I am not in a major rush to but but the earlier I can get one the better it is as we're expecting a little one very soon.

I have already contacted Martininwillerby from this forum espressing interest in his car.

Try looking on Autotrader... I can't find anything in your price range that fits your requirements

I think you'll find that you're proabably about £1K short... unless you are prepared to compromise on the spec/mileage or both...

Or be patient

Thanks for the advice. On searching a bit more, I wouldnt mind paying that extra £1k for a decent more...Most of the ones on Autotrader are now sold but adverts are still showing as live

if i were you, i would hold out for and Ed30

you'll go one up from your brother and the Ed30 offers more flexibility and feel more special

If most or all are sold... Keep looking... Autotrader, Pistonheads etc.

One will turn up eventually

Try Alex Creasy (look him up on the web).
He had access to several DSG 5 dor edition 30s last week at cheaper prices than any dealer.

I would have picked that up however its been sold now for about 3 weeks - Its quite well specced to be fair !!
Shall check with Alex Creasy just now too - thanks for the heads up !
