Title: boost prob ??

hi there as you know i fitted my boost hoses and 007p in the last few days iam well happy with them BUT,
when i fitted the boost hoses sat i took it for run seemed fine but i noticed when you put your foot down flat the sounds of the boost seemed to be on and off like a swirl noise  but seemed to be pulling as normal not reall noticed any on and offs with the pulling.
now i have fitted the 007p i took it out again and i can here the same noise a bit more but drive seems ok .

have u guys got any ideas on wot could be happening???  i dont have a vagcom so no faut codes ........   

its weird thats its now makein this noise??  :undecided:

are you sure you have fitted the hoses down properley and fitted the clips tightley!

they all seem ok but i wont b usein the car till weekend now , so i will check them all again.   if a hoses is not tight enuf is there a way of telling???

it will be unlikley that any have split so all you could do is just check all the jubilee clips are tight! might even be a faulty MAF! :undecided:

sorry read i competly wrong i thought you said you hit some flat spots while putting your foot down! :embarassed:! if its just a swirling sound then its proberly just your turbo spooling up! mine does the same!

could the fitting of the hoses etc make the MAF faulty as it has all been fine untill now lol. i might give jkm a ring tomorrow and see how much they will charge me to fit my TIP andcheck all my hoses are on ok , and then find my prob if its not a hoses etc

does yours sound like the whitsle noise  whistles as normal but drops in sounds and the whistles loud again and so on , up and down with the pitch of the sound.??

yes mate mine also sounds like a whisling noise! we have ether got the same problem or thats how its meant to sound :huh:

 :undecided: i aint got a clue , but i know mine didnt used to do the drop in sound then back up again . like it is now when foot is flat to floor.

does sound like a boost hose isnt on correctly and from what ive been reading it may be the hose coming off the top of turbo.

damm i fort i had done a good job with them but mayb not  :cry: 
i think ill try git it in to jkm me thinks just for the piece of mind
