Is it possible to get replacement parts for the lower grille on this model?
Possibly honeycomb effect etc?

Yes, you can even go for a full GTI front end conversion as some already have :smiley:

Is it as simple as a direct replacement?

The JOM version is different, but may still involve faffing!

The issue with doing a full conversion is that the front mounts are different from the TDI's and FSI model variants. Some front conversions allow for this and significantly reduce the amount of "faffing". The JOM version maybe one as it is a front end bumper that is "based" on a GTI and not a full conversion like in the link you posted. :smiley:

It says gti 'style' - do you reckon that would be a direct replacement?
The problem with the JOM one is that there's no delivery!

You'd need to ask the supplier if it is a direct fit or not :smiley:
