Right guys,
replaced the speedo sensor...not me mind, the missus actually paid for summat instead of me p!ssing around on my days off. It was fine for a good while, but then its started dipping whilst driving but only when cold/wet outside and only within the first 10-15 mins max.
There was a sunroof drainage blockage that appears to be cleared now i.e tested dropping a little water direct into the drainage and it flooded straight out, so shouldn't be that.
However, is there anyway that water may on any terminals behind the dash because of the drainage routing from the roof?
Its beginning to annoy...its obviously booked in as it was done and comes with a 12 month warranty on the work, but thought i'd sort sooner than its booked in if poss.

you could always remove the cluster to check, remove trim abouve steering wheel (pops off) remove the 2 screws and then pull thclocks forward enough to check the connectors, could be a fault instrument cluster too, or the actual drive wheel on the g/box could be slightly damaged

the actual sensor was replaced by the stealership...just waiting on the booking day to come around...but might give the clocks the once over myself then...cheers for that fella
